Bischofshofen Christmas Magic
The Bischofshofen Christmas Magic sets the mood for the festive season over several Advent weekends. The programme begins with Advent in the historic Kastenhof on 27 and 28 November. Arts and crafts, regional specialities, punch and biscuits create a festive meeting place in the run-up to Christmas.
On 28 and 29 November, a separate Advent market takes place at the Echtkasig Hubmühle, hosted by Elisabeth Hödlmoser. On 5 and 6 December, Saint Nicholas and the Krampus figures of the Dellago Pass take centre stage in the Kastenhof.
The Seitengassenadvent by Moebelart brings a festive atmosphere to Bischofshofen’s side streets on 11 and 12 December. The Christmas programme concludes with another Advent weekend in the Kastenhof from 18 to 20 December.
Traditional folk music and brass ensembles, performing at 6.30 pm, accompany the varied programme. Special activities are also planned for children.
